Revamping the Office in Los Angeles

When you work for a national company you learn that having offices across the country isn’t usually the ideal situation to be in.  I know that the logic is that you can cater to many communities, but for my role as the real estate supervisor, it is a complete nightmare.  I spend a lot of time moving between offices, and I rarely make it home.

That is the nature of my job.

For example, a few days ago I was finding some commercial windows Los Angeles as ours needed replacing.  The COO decided that it made more sense for us to replace them on our own, so I found myself flying out to L.A. to get it done.  I had never bought enough windows to replace all of them on the building in my career here, so it was going to be a learning process.

Thankfully the sales clerk at the windows store was happy to help.

After explaining the situation and what we wanted to do with our commercial building, I was presented with the best options for our windows.  The sales person was helpful, knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my questions.

In was one of the best shopping experiences that I have ever had.

I have slated the work to start later this month and hopefully it won’t take more than a few days to get all of the work done.  I can’t wait to see what our building looks like with brand new windows.
