When a new person moves into our condo complex, I like to give them a gift basket. Someone just moved into suite 314, so that is what I am working on today.
I have decided to include some bread, african soap, movie tickets and a map of the city so that they can get acquainted with our little town. I hope they like it.
One of the biggest challenges that my son has had since finishing college is finding a job. The job market out here has been less than stellar, and for a long time I have been very worried that he wouldn’t find anything. Thankfully, things are looking better after yesterday.
You see, he heard about some Resort Manager Jobs that have become available, and I think that he is taking a serious look at them. Sure, they don’t really relate to what he took in college, but he will have to start paying his student loans very soon, so any kind of work will be welcome. I can’t wait to see if he likes it.
With my daughter graduating from high school this year, it is getting to be that time of year to look at prom dresses. I really want her to have an amazing experience at her prom, so we have been looking at Sherri Hill prom dresses. There are a few she really has her eyes on and I hope she finds one that she truly falls in love with – I want her day to be perfect.
I love Sundays. I mean, it is the day of rest, so it should come as no surprise that I spend the time with my kids. We look forward to it each week and I treasure every moment with them.
Today, we are playing Mario Kart on the Wii. I have to say that I am not that great using the wii remote controller, but I am having fun. Besides, my nine year old son loves to beat me… so that is okay
