One of the things that I have really taken for granted lately is the ease of searching through piles of documents that a computer provides.  I had not realized how much I depended on it to make my life easier until yesterday.

You see, we were going through the customer records for one of our smaller businesses that we have operated for years out of just a few legers.  It was never really that big, so we never thought to store the company information on the computer.

But when I wanted to search for something this week, it quickly became apparent as to how slow looking for things by hand can be.  So, in order to avoid this “challenge” in the future, I have decided to take advantage of a document imaging service to help move to the 21st century when it comes to all our business data.

I think it is the right choice.
