One of the things that I have been taking for granted lately is my router.  I bought it about five years ago now, and I depend on it to protect my network of computers here at home as it is a firewall.  But, after a little incident with my niece and some pop, it looks like the router is going to have to go in the garbage.

So, I have been looking at a number of routers, trying to find one that will suit my needs.  I have taken a real interest in one that has wireless networking, so that I can use my laptop throughout my home, and they are certainly a lot more affordable than they have been.

I am going out today to get a new one as I don’t feel safe using the Internet without it – it will sure be nice to get things back to normal.
