Protecting our Motorhome in Winter
One of the things that we learned the hard way is that it is very important to have motorhome insurance even in winter. In fact, it is during the offseason that your RV is at the most risk for something happening to it.
When you consider that your motorhome is usually stored somewhere unattended for months on end during winter, it is important to have insurance on it. In our case, our motorhome had the windows smashed on it while it was being stored indoors. This is a huge expense especially when you don’t have any insurance to cover those kind of mishaps.
So, if you own a motorhome, learn from my mistake – it is important to have insurance on your motorhome year round.
