If the blog owner appreciates what you’ve written, he may even grant you a spot on his blogroll!

You don’t have to spend a lot to do this if you set it up with your budget in mind. Do some keyword research and write up some creative ads and you can generate quite a bit of traffic this way.

Since Google is the world’s largest search engine, their PPC service, Google Adwords is the most popular one. Many internet marketers have had great success using this service and others like it. Remember, you want your ad to be entertaining and enticing so that people will click on it!

Look around, find and contact the publishers of good quality newsletters, or ezines, in your market topic. Contact them and go slowly, but what you eventually want to do is contribute some content, or articles, to their newsletter. Offer to forego payment for the article in exchange for a couple of links to your websites. You’ll find a lot of publishers will agree to this if your content is good and well-written. You never know what may come of it, maybe a paid writing job.

There are a lot of ways to generate traffic to your website. But it’s a process that is always continuing and neverending. Every day, it’s smart to put time into creating backlinks and traffic. There are a lot of different ways to do this so, the good news is, traffic generation will probably never be boring! Also, a lot of marketers are driven by thinking of how they may profit from all the various tasks they have to do.
