I just found out yesterday that I am going to be officially offered a position in the NC branch of our company to be the regional VP.  It is a position that I have been working towards for years, and in some respects it is a dream come true.

But since our daughter developed some health conditions, we have been worried about moving and losing our health coverage.  So, before I take this job, I have to make sure that we qualify for NC health insurance as we can’t afford to have no coverage.

I figure that it will take some time to determine whether or not we will be covered if we move there – if we aren’t, I will have to pass up the promotion.  The health of our daughter is more important.
