If you are a parent, you can probably relate to the fact that a child’s birthday is stressful.  Considering you have to make sure to invite everyone your child wishes to have at the party, find the venue, set things up and then run the party for a few hours, by the time everything is done, chances are that you feel wiped.

We just had my daughter’s birthday party, and it was a lot of work.  She just turned 4 so she had some friends that she wanted to invite and we decided to have the party at a play area here in town where we wouldn’t have to clean up the mess when we were done.

The party just about turned into a disaster when we found out that the battery in the camera was dead, but thankfully our camera uses regular batteries, so we had a spare one on hand.

I know that we will miss doing these things for our child someday, but right now I’m just tired – being a parent is a lot of work.
