When my sister-in-law Michelle told us that she was going to get her Masters of Nursing online I was skeptical – I mean, how was she supposed to learn all the hands-on skills that she would need to do her job?  I just didn’t see how it was going to work.

But, in her defense, she was going to do her studies while she worked.  My brother was in school at the time, and they couldn’t live without her income, so the online studies was their only option.  It did have a weekend of applied practice, so that those things that she needed to learn and practice in “real life” could be addressed.

I asked her to show me how her MS nursing course was delivered and it looked good.  In fact, just sitting down with her for an hour, I was able to learn something too!

Needless to say, her online studies really opened my eyes – I would definitely recommend online nursing studies to my friends.
