Buying Wine
The majority of people that buy wine are people who enjoy the taste and like to savor the feeling. Or maybe they like to use it when they are cooking, or to look good when they have guests over. I on the other hand purely buy wine to get drunk.
The feeling I get after too many glasses of wine is unlike any other. I am the one and only. The only problem is when I buy wine, I drink the whole bottle if not 2. The hangover the next day is harsh too. Wine is the quickest way to get me drunk that is for sure.
Yesterday I went to buy wine at my local threshers, and they had the audacity to I.D me. I have been going there for almost 3 years now. But they have a new buy wine policy. Instead of looking over 21 now, their buy wine policy is look 35! Look 35!? What a waste of time and energy, they must have to I.D almost everyone who goes in there!
I normally leave the house with about a 5 pound note to buy wine. This time I had my whole wallet with me and lucky my driving licence was in there. I passed the criteria to buy wine successfully! I just kicked up a fuss, I might even be banned from there now!
The night is much cheaper if you get drunk before you go out. This is what I always do. It also makes it seem like it is warmer outside. I leave my jacket at home.
We normally head out around 9pm but at this time of night the local shops are long shut and the only place to buy wine is the off license. It seemed that I was forced to go in and apologize and say I was wrong to kick off.
I didn't want to say sorry to the off license so I got one of my friends to buy wine for me and I would give them a glass to say thanks. Whatever happened to just helping a friend out for nothing?!
I have decided I am going to Tesco, and will buy wine in the bulk load. Stock up and then I will never have to share my wine, or go and buy from Threshers. The only problem is, with it being readily available I may start drinking it when I'm not even going out!
