Since the movie Bucket List came out, many of us have created our own lists. One item that should be in it is a trip across Europe. It makes for a fascinating time, but can be intense. You are going to need at least one day off, and one place is perfect.

Switzerland is a country nearly everyone visits when in Europe. When you are there, consider heading over to Gstaad. There you will find the Bellevue Spa, a classic spa that provides luxury and pampering on an unheard of level.

When it comes to old world European charm, the Bellevue Spa definitely has it. Ah, but there is so much more. The real charm of this spa is not all around you. It is above you with an eye towards the heavens.

As you sit inside a tub filled with rose petals and warm mineral water, it might dawn on you to look up toward the ceiling. You will instantly find that your entire mind seems to be sucked into another world filled with celestial stars and moon beams.

This feeling is largely due to the pyramid like glass that surrounds the bathing area. The glass windows allow guests to feel as though they are alone in the world, and this feeling is especially magnificent when the first snowflakes begin to fall. Rooms inside of the resort are also on their own plateau.

Many rooms in older European resorts have a heavy feel. You know. Honey, I just conquered the neighboring village vibe. The rooms at Bellevue are not heavy, they are light and designed to maximize light penetration.

You awake in the morning warm in the bed. For a bit of tea, you can head off to the garden area to slowly wake up in peace. Prefer a bit more to eat? Head off to the pool where breakfast is served. And then it is my favorite time. Yes, it is time to hit the spa.

Baths fit for Roman gods will await you as you walk into the spa. Wrapping yourself in a fluffy towel, it is easy to let the world slip past as you enjoy complete spa serenity. Scrubs designed to pamper the soul will slough all of your cares away as you rest and relax.

It is easy to say that Europe has some of the best spas and resorts in the world, but none of them encompass all the aspects of nature quite like the Bellevue Spa does. Even if you stay for just one night, this spa will be well worth the price.
