Bulldog Basics 101: Bulldog Problem Behaviors
The Bulldog is a truly fabulous breed of dog. These dogs are loyal, affectionate and extremely devoted to their owners. They even make great family pets and do well around other animals, especially if they are raised together. There are certain Bulldog problem behaviors that you will want to be aware of before going ahead and deciding to get one of these dogs for yourself.
When compared to other breeds of dog the Bulldog is really one of the best because they experience the fewest problems, especially in terms of behavior. They are very friendly and even-tempered and are usually very easy to train. Problems that may occur include excessive chewing, jumping up and down and digging. Obviously these types of problems can be impossible to live with and so they will need to be dealt with appropriately.

Remember that any behavior can become attention-grabbing behavior so long that the dog learns that he will receive attention for engaging it. This is why, even though it may be incredibly difficult, sometimes you just need to ignore your dog and not show them the attention that they are seeking.
You should teach your dog a few tricks and commands, and not only will this help their behavioral problems but as well it will make them understand who the head of the household is, who is in charge.
