Since television will only be broadcast digitally starting February 2009, I thought that it might be time for me to upgrade to something other than my tube tv.  Though it has been a reliable workhorse, it is time to get something a little more modern that doesn't take up so much room.

So, we have been looking at LCD televisions and I like the Sharp Aquos the best.  Not only have I read many great reviews about the brand itself, but I think that it would make the perfect computer monitor (if I can get my wife's approval).

I think that we will wait to move before we pick up a new television, but I just can't wait to watch television that is sharp - unlike this tube TV that we have had for years.
