I have always been a bit of a drifter. In that, I mean that I was never content to be in one place for very long. When I finished high school, I decided to go backpacking through Europe for a month and I never ended up coming home for over a year. This is how I have always been and I was quite certain that it would take a lot to get me to change.

That is why I was so excited last summer when a group of street theatre performers offered to let me join their group. This was a great opportunity for me to travel from city to city all summer long, entertaining different crowds of people every night. I knew that this was an offer that I could not pass up.

I loved every single minute of it. I will have fond memories of it forever, but things will be a lot different this summer. I finally found something that made me change my desire to be far away from home. She has red hair, the most beautiful little smile and she looks just like me. I decided that more than I need to see the world, a little girl needs her mommy.
