As part of our English final this year, our professors assigned us a take-home essay and I have been working feverishly trying to get it done.  Even though it was assigned as a take-home project, it doesn’t make writing a dissertation any easier knowing that our professor has higher expectations from us than if we just came to the exam and wrote it out.

I originally had thought that writing an essay at home would be easier, but I’ve been struggling for the past three days with trying to come up with a good thesis statement.  It just seems that whatever idea I do come up with doesn’t really seem appropriate or mesh well with the rest of what I’ve written.

I have even tried bouncing ideas off of other people with little success.  With the exam coming up in just a few short days I need to get this thing together and get it to work properly.  I just hope I can do it in time.
