I was a little shocked today in class when the professor assigned another one of her very grueling essays.  It seems that every week we are assigned another essay and more assignments than I care to count.  I was really wondering if I was crazy enough to make it through this class so getting a brain aneurysm due to the insane workload that we’ve been given.

I was sure that when I enrolled for the class the coursework was not supposed to be so heavy but I thought I would take a look in the course syllabus to see if I was right for just a little crazy.

As it turns out, according to the course syllabus we should not be writing as many term papers as we are doing at the moment.  I made an appointment with the professor next week to discuss the discrepancies between the course syllabus and the actual workload there were receiving from her.  If she is unable to give me a good answer as to why we are writing so many essays in doing so many assignments I will be forced to go talk to the dean of the college and lodge a formal complaint.  I hope it doesn’t come down to that, but I will do what needs to be done to ensure that we are being treated appropriately.
