Needs Not Thought Of
When my husband and I bought our first house I had no idea at all of the different costs that would be involved. Sure, I knew about the mortgage and other monthly expenses but what I didn’t realize was that there was so much more to owning a house. I learned very quickly though, as the expenses quickly started to add up.
It wasn’t as if there was any major expenses involved, but it was so many small ones that had me frustrated. What frustrated me most, was the costs that I had never thought of before are buying the house. I didn’t think about things such as buying sod and having to buy garden equipment.
Since we had always lived in an apartment up to this point I had never worried about lawn or gardening equipment before. I was really happy to have these things but wish that I had thought the costs of them out before purchasing the house. I must admit though, that my lawn and garden looks beautiful now.
