There is one thing I have never understood and that is why some people treat their pets as if they are real human beings. I have a cousin who sends out Christmas cards every year and the dog’s name is signed to it and we are all expected to give the dog gifts come Christmas day. He is also always dressed in pet clothing and it drives me insane.

Since I got the stupid dog’s name in the Christmas draw this year, I decided that I had better take a trip to the local pet supplies store and see what I could find for him. This is not a fun thing for me and I am the last person who should have drawn the dog’s name. I really hate that he is as important to the family as my children.

I hope they are happy with the large assortment of dog toys that I purchased for him. By them, I mean my cousin and his wife, because I am sure that the dog could care less. The dog knows that he is a dog, so what is it going to take for his pet humans to figure it out? I hope they do it soon before I go crazy.
