Putting Tile in the Kitchen
It seems that no matter what you do, once you start renovating your home, there is no turning back. We have tackled the bathroom and that is finally complete, but there is a new eyesore in our home - the kitchen.
When I look at the floor, all I see is the nasty linoleum that we have had for too many years. When you are told by your grandmother who can’t see very well that your floor is ugly, you know it is time for it to go.
We recently bought a DirectBuy membership and went down to their showroom - and boy were we impressed. We were also floored (no pun intended) by the prices.
Sure, my wife and I have to come to some sort of consensus about what kind of tile we are going to buy, but it feels good being one step closer to seeing that linoleum go.
