Writing, Writing, and more Writing
It is very interesting watching my wife these days. You see, she is in a MBA program and she has been taking night classes and working at the same time. Though this is not strange in this day and age, I still find it weird watching her write her dissertation each and every day.
Now, she is not slow at writing, but rather the thesis writing that she is doing must be a certain length. In fact, after the kids have gone to bed, she retreats to our home office and writes for two to three hours each night. I check on her from time to time, and I see her there working amongst piles of books.
With her taking this program, it reminded me of the amount of "fun" I had writing dissertations in college. I am just really happy that it is her writing night after night, not me - I just wouldn’t have the dedication that she has anymore.
