Traveling Stresses Me Out

Planning a trip is very strenuous for me. I am always worried that things will not go as planned. I worry about missing flights, losing luggage and lost hotel reservations. I am what most people would call a worry wart and my husband says that I am not happy if I do not have something to worry about. He is not too far off on that assumption and I feel sorry for him, at times, for having to put up with me.

On a recent trip, we had a seven hour layover in Newark. Not wanting to be stuck at the airport for that long, I looked into the Newark airport transportation, to see where we could go to kill some time. I learned that there was a shopping center not too far away and that there was shuttle service to and from the airport.

I worried the whole time that we were at the shopping center that we would miss the shuttle back to the airport, thus missing our flight. Because of this needless worry, we cut our shopping trip short and ended up back at the airport three hours before our flight was scheduled to leave. Looking back, I feel really silly, but that is exactly what kind of person I am. But, on the brighter side, I am never late for anything.
