A Big Gaming Decision

I have never owned a video game console before and I am considering buying one now. Video games have coma a long way and there is now much more educational games and games that increase your brain power. This is the reason I am considering purchasing one now.

Before I decide whether or not I am going to buy one, I want to see if I can find a website that sells cheap Nintendo games. I don’t want to have to pay full price for games and I really don’t care if they are brand new, but I do want to get them for a good price and I want them to work.

I know if I do decide to buy a system, it will be a Nintendo Wii console. It is absolutely the only one I am considering and I am actually interested to see if I can find one of those online for cheaper than they sell them in the store. I have to make up my mind soon and I am not good at making decisions like this.

Mopping Up a Mess in the Kitchen

When I woke up this morning, it seemed like it would be a great day.  The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and it seemed like one of those few perfect moments in life.

Or so I thought.

When I went downstairs to fix breakfast, I was greeted with a large puddle on my kitchen floor.  Turns out that after a little investigation, my kitchen faucets had been leaking all night.

So, I found myself taking the roll of both a janitor and a plumber today - not quite my idea of the way Friday is supposed to be.

Getting Better Use Out of Home Alarm

My parents have had a home alarm at their home for a number of years now.  Originally, it was installed because they worked out of the home a lot, so it was there to deter thieves.

But, seeing that my parents are cheap, they did not pay for any monitoring services.

This past year, we bought alarm system monitoring services for them for the entire year.  Now that they are older, we are worried about their safety (since they live in a questionable neighborhood).

Now, we have the peace of mind knowing that they should be safe and secure in their home - provided they can remember to turn the alarm system on.

Getting Mortgage Life Insurance

It seems like there is a never ending need for insurance.  You need it for you health, your life, accidents, and even your automobile.  But, I came across a type of insurance I had never heard of until today and I think I am going to get it.

What I am talking about here is mortgage life insurance.  What this policy would do for you is protect your family from the burden of having to pay off the mortgage when you pass away.  The idea is that it will pay your estate a death benefit that can be used to pay off the mortgage or provide your family with financial protection when you are gone.

I have made an appointment with an insurance broker for next week - I will see if they can help me out.

A Hypnotic Idea

I have been smoking on and off since I was thirteen years old and I am still managing to hide it from my parents. They are so clueless and it has been fourteen years. I would not say that my parents are stupid, but they will always believe the best of me and would refuse that I was a smoker, since they themselves, are very anti-smoking.

When I took a trip to Europe, I decided that I was going to go with my friend to a hypnosis London clinic and see if I could use this method to quit smoking. I tried it and it actually worked. I was smoke free for over two years, but then I made the dumb mistake of lighting up at a party when I had too much to drink.

This undid everything that the hypnosis had done for me. By the next day, I was back to my half a pack a day habit. I know that I should get hypnotized again, but there is a small part of me that does not want to quit right now. I think that I would really miss it and it makes me relax.
