Celebrating Life’s Milestones in Different Ways
One of the neatest things in life is that everyone is different. This is especially true with traditions and rites of passage.
The most memorable example of this is when I used to sell jewelry. There was a father buying his son his first gold chain as a gift and a reminder that he is becoming a man. Though I felt that this was a strange tradition, I could understand.
You see, as a parent, we will be forming different traditions with our children that are different than the ones we had when we were growing up. But it is these differences that makes each of our experiences unique, and life worthwhile living.
