Now, if you were to do a search on how many pages there are on the Internet that link back to this site, you would see that there are quite a few. This isn't some sort of fluke, rather the result of the link building strategies I have employed to market this site.
A big reason that my marketing has done well is because I have made a point to work on my link building each and every day. Even something as little as a single link each day can make a world of difference in your search engine rankings.
Another focus of my marketing has been to find high value links - those from authority sites, or pages with high page rank. Not only does this add credibility to this site, but can help with the search engine rankings as well.

Something Special for the Wife
I would like to think of myself as a romantic - at least some of the time anyway. Needless to say, I try to keep the romance alive in our relationship (my wife and I) by doing little things or buying special things for her. Now, I don't buy her something each time, rather I try to buy something for a special occasion.
So, when the anniversary of our engagement was coming up, I felt that I needed to get her something. Something special, yet something different. I found myself looking in many luxury jewelry stores, but there were few things that caught my eye.
I did see some potential in the designer jewelry on display, but I wanted something a little more unique for her, so I asked if they had unique designer jewelry - and they actually did.
I found an exquisite bracelet and I will be presenting it to her on our anniversary. I know that it is just four days away, and I have to be patient, but I can't wait to see the look on her face - I know she will love it!

Christmas Party Present Purchase
As some of you know, the company where my wife works just had their Christmas party. I know that may sound weird to some of you, but the company she works for is mainly a hospitality company (think restaurants, hotels, etc.) and they are unable to close during the Christmas season. So, they have their party in January when they can find a slow night.
I have become good friends with her boss over the years and we have talked on many occasions. We went for coffee last week and we had a good chat about how he plans for his Christmas parties. Somehow we ended up talking about where he gets the stainless steel jewelry that he gives out each year.
I guess a couple of years back, while shopping online he came across a wholesale stainless steel jewelry website by doing a search on "stainless steel jewelry wholesale". They bought some of the jewelry themselves and were so impressed with it, they decided that it would be a nice gift to their staff. From the feedback they receive from their staff, he told me that they will continue their tradition for a long time into the future.
All I can say is it sure beats the tin of coffee I get each year..... maybe it is time for a career change for me...

Gifts for Uncle Greayer
I have an uncle that I have been very close to growing up. He is my Uncle Greayer and he has been an inspiration and a fear in my life. I can remember as a child being scared of him - he was much bigger than my father was. But though he is a big guy, he was always really good to us.
So, when his fiftieth birthday was approaching I thought that I could do something special. He has always talked about owning one of those Rolex watches that you see in all the magazines. So, I thought that this would be a fabulous gift for him - so I went to check them out.
I went to many watch stores and looked at the prices. Well, the bad news was that they were well out of my price range. At the time I was in college and really didn't have a lot of extra money kicking around - I needed to find something a little more economical.
It was at this point that one of my classmates suggested that I look into replica watches - supposedly they looked and worked exactly the same, but at a fraction of the cost. He suggested a couple of stores for me to checkout and I decided that this would be the way to go.
I looked through many Rolex replicas, and finally found one that looked like the real thing. Price wise, it was a lot cheaper than I had expected and I even had money left over to buy some lunch.
What was the final result?
He loved the watch and had no idea that it was a replica.
New Modern Furniture – Modernizing our Home
It was a sad day for me this week, when I had to let my old recliner go. I mean, I had the recliner given to me years ago by a college buddy, and it has been the most comfortable thing I have ever sat upon. But, my wife said that it was time for us to get some contemporary furniture, so I had to let go.
We found ourselves in a modern furniture store today looking at new sofas and chairs for our living room (yes those hand me down couches are gone too). I guess she wanted to replace all the furniture in the house, so the shopping trip ended up being rather expensive.
In the end we ended up buying contemporary bedroom furniture, living room furniture, and even a new dining set. They will be delivering everything next Tuesday, so our house will look completely different by then. To be honest, I think that this was the perfect time to buy - I will quite enjoy the new look of our home.

Out Shopping for the Wife
My wife and I had the opportunity to go shopping today without the kids. Not only are these days very relaxing, but at the same time, they are a needed getaway for a parent's sanity. We don't get to do this very often, but we take every chance we can get.
Today, our goal was a little different - my wife needed some new clothes. You see, her clothes were not fitting to well since she is three months pregnant. It is now the time where she needs some maternity clothing as she is starting to show.
We went to three or four stores over a three hour period and I carried many bags of clothing out. I am really excited to see her in her new clothes - she is going to look amazing!
Upgrading My Laptop
My laptop has been running slowly lately and I have tried to make it work faster. Defragmenting the hard drive, checking for spyware, and tweaking the settings resulted in small gains, but not enough worth mentioning.
The biggest part of my problem is that I am continuously using all my RAM up and having to use a large portion of the page file - which slows my machine down continuously. This is a result of me editing hundreds of digital photos at one time. I don't really have enough money to buy a new machine, so I have been looking for alternatives - and everything points to upgrading the RAM.
I looked online at a few computer retailers, to see if they had any Dell Memory that would work with my notebook. Thankfully I found some and ordered it - it should be here in a week or so. I can't wait to see how well the computer works with the new RAM - anything would be an improvement.

Thinking Different Makes a Difference
Even though our society encourages creative thought, in some respects it is really discouraged. In fact, this behavior is ingrained in our minds from a young age so that by the time we are adults, we have a one track mind.
The pattern we are taught is to get an education, and get a career. In some respects, it is discouraged for you to start your own business and set your own path. But for those people who think outside the box, this is not the route they take.
For example, I was at a meet and grow rich seminar, where people who did think a little differently gathered together to network. This way, you could make friends that think like you and encourage you to succeed.
We discussed that the networking was the first step in succeeding, but they said you had to choose to succeed - it would not just fall in your lap. I definitely took that thought to heart.
So what is your next choice? Do you choose to be rich or be normal? That is for you to decide.

My Cool Café
I have owned my own café for three years now and this is the very first year that we have seen real profits. I must admit that I was getting rather frustrated by the fact that I was putting all of my profits back into the business, but I realize this is usually the fact with any new business.
I have taken a look into different profit systems and I think my business is right on track, comparing it with many other cafés of the same type. This has made me feel a little bit better about not making money for two years.
It is exciting for me actually having some disposable income this year though, and I was able to even splurge a little bit on myself. It has made me feel better about my investments and I know now that I did the right thing by starting it.
This year, I have also enjoyed some great business reviews by different companies. I guess I am doing something right after all, and am a better person for it.

Tabloid Editor in Training
I like to go online every few days or so to catch up on the net gossip. I am more than a little bit fascinated with the lives of those in tinsel town and I like to keep up on the latest with my favorite celebrities.
I have my favorite sites in which I get the best entertainment reviews and I get the latest scoop on which celebrity has done some stupid thing while they were partying with their friends last night.
I have my own ratingzone to put in order which celebrities of the day are my favorites and which ones I am just getting plain sick of. Yes, there are some that I get sick of, and rather quickly, at that.
I would some day like to write my own reviews about celebrities. That is one reason that I follow the celebrity media so closely. I want to be informed in case the opportunity ever arises that I can show someone how much I really know.
