Protecting Your Online Identity From Theft

You have probably seen on the news the stories of identity theft that occurs online.  Quite often it can happen without your knowledge and can sometimes have significant financial impact to your life.

But there are better ways available now to ensure your anonymity while surfing.  For example, if you are at the public library and want to visit your MySpace account without risking someone finding out your login details.

A good suggestion for you to protect your private details would be to use a MySpace proxy site.  The way these types of sites work is that they connect to a remote computer to get the information to show you in your browser.  When you are done, there is no record of you visiting the sites you did, nor any record of your passwords.  Basically, proxy sites make your surfing experience safer.

If you are looking to try one out and see how they work, I would suggest going over to Google and doing a quick search for "myspace proxy" and you will find many sites that will work for you.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
