A Better Internet

As with all technologies, things change.  A good example of this is the Internet.  Go back about ten years and everyone used search engines to find what they were looking for.  In some respects, they asked the search engines a question and they answered.

Things are a little different now.  Now the Internet is about sharing your bookmarks and fun websites with the world.  This is quite different to the way it used to be - you used to keep your bookmarks private on your own computer separate from everyone else.

This change to openly sharing the sites that you are interested in has caused an increase in website ratings sites - you can share what you think of any sites on the web.  This can cause good or bad Internet buzz for the sites that are rated.

With the new Internet, the website owners can get feedback on what people like and dislike about their sites, and can make changes.  This way, the companies can have feedback from their customers, and take steps to build a better Internet.
