I can’t wait until next weekend - I will have the house to myself.  You see, my wife is going to visit her sister in Branson Missouri for a week or two.  And she is taking the kids!

Excitement aside, the real reason that she is going is that we are going to have a baby in a little more than a month, and if she doesn’t go now, it will be  awhile before she can.

So, I am counting down the days until they are gone - though I will miss them, I do treasure these few chances I get to spend some time alone.
