As some of you know, the company where my wife works just had their Christmas party.  I know that may sound weird to some of you, but the company she works for is mainly a hospitality company (think restaurants, hotels, etc.) and they are unable to close during the Christmas season.  So, they have their party in January when they can find a slow night.

I have become good friends with her boss over the years and we have talked on many occasions.  We went for coffee last week and we had a good chat about how he plans for his Christmas parties.  Somehow we ended up talking about where he gets the stainless steel jewelry that he gives out each year.

I guess a couple of years back, while shopping online he came across a wholesale stainless steel jewelry website by doing a search on "stainless steel jewelry wholesale".  They bought some of the jewelry themselves and were so impressed with it, they decided that it would be a nice gift to their staff.  From the feedback they receive from their staff, he told me that they will continue their tradition for a long time into the future.

All I can say is it sure beats the tin of coffee I get each year….. maybe it is time for a career change for me…
