Where are we Going? Higher!
Alright, that title may be reminiscent of Telemiracle - a telethon that raises money for charities where I live. But really, as webmasters, we want higher search engine rankings, right?
Now, getting better search engine rankings is sometimes not an easy task. Quite often you can spend a lot of time doing Internet marketing and you won’t see any instant results. But your patience will pay off - that is, if you can be patient.
Take article marketing for example. You take the time to write an article and submit it to some article directories. Then what do you do? You wait. This can be as little as a couple of days or even more than a year (I have had a couple that took that long to be approved). But, when it is approved, you will see some increase in your search engine rankings and traffic.
Do you need traffic in the mean time?
You bet. You can take advantage of the other online media sites that allow you to submit video, sound, and pictures to drive some traffic to your sites. But that is the subject of another post on another day.
