Lifelong Gamer
I have always loved to play classic games, since I was a small child. I could usually be found trying to talk someone into a game of checkers or sitting and playing chess with someone. I also loved playing card games and always had a deck of cards with me. I became quite the little gambler by seven years old and I could bluff at poker as well as the rest of them.
When I went away to college, I would still try to get people to play games with me, but no one really had time. It was there that I turned to online games. The Internet gave me virtual friends and, although it wasn’t the same, it was satisfying to beat the computer at a game of chess.
I also started playing casino games online. It is a little bit harder to bluff as your opponent cannot physically see you, but my years of practice still made me a good player.
When I am away, I am glad to have the computer to play online games, but nothing compares to coming home for the holidays to play checkers with my dad.
