One thing that I could never understand was my wife’s love for coffee.  It really doesn’t matter what time of day it is, but you can find her with a coffee cup in her hand.  I never realized how lucky I was that she just loved plain coffee, until she started liking the fancy stuff.

I don’t know how it happened but at some point she started going out with her friends for coffee at a local coffee shop.  It was there that she was introduced to specialty coffees such as lattes, espresso, and other names I just don’t know how to pronounce.  The result of this discovery is the spending of hundreds of dollars each month (yes that is not a typo) at this coffee shop.

So, this Christmas, I thought that I could get her something that would feed her need for these specialty coffees and at the same time, reduce the strain on our finances.  With that in mind, I bought her one of those espresso machines so she can make them at home.

I can’t wait to see her face when she opens the present - I am sure she will love it!
