As I consider myself to be quite a trendy person, I really hate the safety wear that we have to dress in for work. It is tacky and ugly and it just makes you look really bad. I even want to suggest at the next staff meeting that we hire someone to design some better looking uniforms. I think it would boost morale. I won’t though, because I am too chicken and I think it may make me sound shallow.

The worst is, at the end of the day, when we are walking out the door, wearing our awful uniforms, while carrying our trendy handbags. It is like a total fashion oxymoron and I cringe at anyone seeing me before I can get into my house and into some decent looking clothes.

I don’t know why people can’t see how bad it really is for us to be looking that way. It is like taking a beautiful hard wood floor and putting and ugly wool rug over it. You would never take that beauty away from the floor, so why do it to us?
