While I have always been a big fan of Xbox games, my wife has not.  You see, she doesn’t really care for the shooting games that I like to play and she is more interested in all ages games.  This was a big problem for me, because it is not as much fun playing alone.  So, after three years of owning an Xbox, it was time to get a new game system.

My first thought was to look at the Xbox 360, but I knew I had to think about my wife first.  The games for the 360 are still adult in nature, so that would mean we wouldn’t play any games together.

Playstation 3 was out as well, as it was just too new.  Besides, she never really cared for any of the games on the Playstation 2 that we had - so it was probably not a good investment.

One thing I did remember is that she used to love playing Super Nintendo with me - especially any game involving Mario.  I checked to see if there were any Wii games with Mario in them - and there were a few.  I decided that this would be the way to go for us.

Now, the trick will be to find a Nintendo Wii at this time of year… wish me luck!
