For those of you who are considering or do work at home, there are usually some pieces of office furniture that you need to setup your home office.  On one hand, the items that you will need will vary but there are some common pieces of furniture all home offices need.

Some of the more common pieces of home office furniture that you will need are a desk, and an office chair.  I recommend getting a mesh office chair since they are both comfortable and let your back breathe (keeps the sweating down).  Depending on the flooring in your office, you may also want to get a chair mat to minimize the marking and wear of your floor.

Don’t forget to get some chairs for those clients that you will have over to your office.  Depending on the space you have, you can get something elaborate, or as simple as a folding chair. 

Consider as well that the comfort and durability of your furniture will vary with price.  I would consider the price to be the least important aspect of your purchases - if you ensure the comfort of yourself and your clients, your company will thrive.
