Well, I have had one of my older websites hosting on free web hosting for a number of years.  Originally, I didn’t have a budget to afford web hosting, so that is why the site is there.  Thing is, the site has become more popular over the years and the amount of traffic it gets is too much for the free hosting.  So, I have decided to move it.

The process of moving the site is relatively easy - similar to a drag and drop.  The site has no databases, so really that part should be a piece of cake. 

The challenge for me is finding affordable web hosting - both that has a lower price and is reliable.  I decided early on that I would stay away from cheap web hosting - I have heard a lot of horror stories.  That takes out a lot of offers you would find on a forum - so I have turned to web host review websites.

What I like about the review websites is that you both sides of the story - the good and the bad.  So, I filtered the results so that I was able to see which one’s were the best hosts (based on user experience).  I picked one of the better ones that fit my budget and signed up.  My account was setup quickly and so far so good.  Now that was sure easy!
