Learning About Website Promotion
I have just started out with my own website, so I have decided I should learn how to market my website. I really had no idea where to begin, but I figured I could find the answers I was looking for on the Internet.
A quick search is all it took to find millions of results - which didn’t help me a whole lot. In fact, it was a little overwhelming. Close to the top of the list, I did find an article directory - and I thought it was worth the look.
At the article directory, I tried my search again - this time for marketing articles. I browsed through the results and read a few articles. I did find a common theme throughout - I should have my site listed on web directories.
What is a web directory?
There was one great article that helped me with the definition of a web directory. It explained that a web directory was basically like a search engine except that it was edited by humans - so the sites on them should be more relevant.
I found a few good web directories to submit my sites too - time will tell if my work will pay off.
