Now who knew a song would inspire me to look at houses?  I sure had no idea.  But because of a song on the radio today while in my car, it opened my eyes to a new possibility.

We have been thinking of moving for awhile, but we have been unable to agree on a place to go.  My wife would like some place warm and I would like somewhere that borders the ocean.  We never really considered Alabama before listening to the song - but we are considering it now.

We decided to look online to see the value of homes in that state and found that they were within our price range.  My wife suggested that we look into the Alabama mortgage rates to see what we would be looking at for a mortgage payment as well as to see what size of house we could purchase.

Not wanting to be too hasty with our decision, we are going to sleep on it for a couple of nights.  If we do decide to move, we are going to see if we can transfer to the branch of our company down there - then it will be one less thing to worry about when we move.
