Putting an Island in our Kitchen
Well, we have finally succumbed to the fact that we don’t have enough cupboard space in our kitchen. We need more, and there is space, so we have decided to build an island.
We are lucky that my father-in-law is a carpenter. He said he was willing to help us next weekend build the cabinet provided we could find a pre-made one. So, we headed over to our local home store and found one that would work.
My wife didn’t care for the knobs that came with the cabinet (must be a girl thing) so we headed over to the cabinet hardware section. After about fifteen minutes (seemed like a lifetime), we found one.
The cabinet is set to be delivered on Friday, and my father-in-law will be here on Saturday. We are set to entertain on Sunday - and we will have the counter space to do it!
